Maui man dies clearing property
Maui authorities are investigating the death of a 57-year-old Napili man who died on Monday while clearing his property in Honokohau Valley.
Maui police said a friend found Joseph Bento unconscious with multiple injuries under a large tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case is classified as a fatal miscellaneous accident.
An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of his death.
