By Star-Advertiser Staff

A 31-year-old homeless man is in police custody facing a multiple of felony charges after he was caught peeking into a parked car in McCully flashing a weapon and then fled.

Police said the suspect was seen by car's owner looking into the window of her car at 6:27 a.m. When the 26-year-old woman approached the suspect, he showed her a gun that was tucked in his waistband and fled in a car.

The suspect was apprehended two hours later on Kapiolani boulevard near Ala Wai Community Park and arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, criminal property damage, and drug and weapons violations.
