2 men arrested in connection with 2 Waikiki robberies

Police on Thursday arrested two of three men who allegedly who stole bags from men in two Waikiki robberies.

Police received multiple calls of a fight in the Uluniu Street and Kuhio Avenue area.

Responding officers found a 50-year-old man who said two men assaulted him and a third man took his bag.

Police said the same three men assaulted two men, 22 and 26, in front of  a Kuhio Avenue hotel, and the younger victim had his bag stolen.

Police found two of the suspects in the area and arrested a 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old Waimanalo man on suspicion of second-degree robbery and assault.
