Hawaii sweeps NAU in volleyball for second night

    Hawaii outside hitter Tai Manu-Olevao hits over the Northern Arizona block in the NCAA women's volleyball game between the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks and the University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu Saturday night.

Junior hitter Tai Manu-Olevao put down 13 kills and sophomore setter Tayler Higgins had four of Hawaii’s nine aces as the Rainbow Wahine swept Northern Arizona for a second straight night, 25-20, 25-23, 25-18 Friday at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Hawaii improved to 8-3 when winning a third straight for a first time this season. The Rainbow Wahine open Big West play Friday at UC Davis.

For the Lumberjacks (9-2), Sydney Kemper and Lauren Jacobsen each had nine kills.
