The Medical Examiner’s office has identified the 46-year-old motorcyclist who was killed when he lost control of his bike and hit the guardrail on Kamehameha highway on Sept. 14 as Jaroslav Kedl.

Kedl died of multiple trauma in the crash on Sept. 14 on Kamehameha highway near Arizona street.

Police said speed may have been a factor.

Witnesses reported the man lost control while heading towards Diamond Head and crashed his 2003 Suzuki GSX 1300 motorcycle into a metal guardrail. The man, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle.
