Honolulu police are trying to find the person who dropped off a cardboard box of items at a Mililani donation center on Sept. 15 — a Monday — for help with a case.

Police said the box included a toy drum set, a wicker chair, and paintings.

The person who donated the items is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 723-3609.

Honolulu Police Department spokeswoman Teresa Bell said detectives only want to question the donor. She didn’t have additional information, but added: “There’s no danger to the public.”
