Signs posted after sewage spill near Coast Guard pier

An estimated 100 gallons of sewage was discharged into Honolulu harbor Thursday morning, prompting warnings for the public to stay out of the water.

The state Department of health Clean Water Branch said the sewage spill happened at about 10 a.m. near the Coast Guard Bravo pier. The discharged was stopped and warning signs posted.
