Tree trimming will close Hanauma Bay on Sunday morning

Public beach access to Hanauma Bay will be closed for emergency tree trimming on Sunday morning.

A crew from the state Division of Urban Forestry will trim trees recently damaged by Hurricane Ana.

Work will begin at sunrise. Beach access will be restored as soon as the trimming is completed.

The visitor center and lookouts will remain open.
