Prosecutors charged a 60-year-old homeless man in connection with an attack on another man near Aala Park Saturday afternoon.

James Reed was charged with second-degree assault and first-degree terroristic threatening. His bail was set at $75,000.

The suspect allegedly attacked the 29-year-old victim, causing injury to his neck about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.

Officers found the suspect, who does not have a local address, about an hour later at Aala Park, and arrested him for investigation of second-degree attempted murder.
