Wahiawa man, 43, arrested in alleged choking assault

Police arrested a 43-year-old Wahiawa man on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly choked and assaulted a 38-year-old woman.

Officers arrested the suspect Wednesday at his Wahiawa home on suspicion of abuse and second-degree attempted murder.

Police said the incident occurred at 8:20 p.m. Monday.
