A 35-year-old McCully woman was charged Friday after she threatened a Department of Education worker, police said.

The woman posted $500 bail after being charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and harassment.

Police said the woman threatened a 45-year-old man with a dangerous instrument shortly before 1 p.m. Friday.

Shortly afterwards, officers arrested the woman at her Philip Street home across the street from Washington Middle School.
