WAILUKU >> Competition in the Target Maui Pro has been put on hold for a second straight day.

Officials with the women’s surf event are waiting for better conditions at Honolua Bay.

Officials with the Association of Surfing Professionals women’s event are waiting for better conditions at Honolua Bay.

The Maui News reports the event is the last of the season and will determine the series champion.

Jessi Miley-Dyer is the women’s commissioner with the Association of Surfing Professionals.

She says while conditions were beautiful Sunday, there wasn’t much in the way of waves. Officials planned to evaluate conditions again Monday.
