    The fire

Four Halawa residents lost their home in a $330,000 fire Sunday night.

The cause of the fire on Piikea Street in Foster Village, which was reported at 7:29 p.m., is under investigation. The fire, which destroyed the one-story home, was brought under control at 8:08 p.m.

One of the residents suffered minor injury when he was overcome by smoke when he went back into the burning building, fire officials said. He refused medical treatment.

Two men and two women who live in the home declined Red Cross assistance.
