On Thanksgiving morning, thieves used a pickup truck to steal an automated teller machine from the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in Kahului.

Police said investigation revealed that between 09:55 and 10:55 a.m., suspects rammed, then pulled out the ATM from the south wall of the main entrance. The ATM contained an undisclosed amount of cash.

Pieces of the passenger side tail light were left at the scene which possibly identifies the make and model of the truck as a Nissan Frontier.

Before the theft, a black 2004 Nissan Frontier pickup truck bearing Hawaii plates LBE-251 was stolen in Waihee area. It is not confirmed that the stolen truck was used in connection of the theft of the ATM.
