Police: Man took officer’s gun during struggle
Honolulu police arrested a 39-year-old man in Wahiawa after he allegedly took an officer’s gun while resisting arrest.
The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday as officers were arresting the suspect on a contempt warrant, police said.
The suspect allegedly resisted arrest and took the officer’s firearm.
The officer was able to disarm the suspect and arrested him for resisting arrest, police said.
