Fire causes $200K in damage to house in Honokaa
Fire damaged a two-story dwelling in Honokaa on Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters responding to a 1:58 p.m. call found the second floor of the Kahili Street residence fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was brought under control by 2:30 p.m. and extinguished by 2:50 p.m.
The sole occupant of the home was able to escape without injury.
Overall damage has been estimated at $200,000.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
