The presidential first family is scheduled to leave Washington D.C. for Honolulu on Dec. 19 and their seventh consecutive Christmas vacation in the aloha state, the White House press office said.
President Barack Obama and the rest of the first family arrived at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam a year ago on almost the same date.
Obama took in a round of golf a day later on Saturday at the nearby Marine Corps base at Kaneohe Bay.
