A 30-year-old man has been charged with injuring two police officers during an arrest Friday in Waikiki.

Jerod Mcdade, who doesn’t have a local address, was charged at 4:15 p.m. Saturday with two counts of first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer. His bail was set at $40,000.

Police said Mcdade injured two officers and harassed two others while resisting an arrest at 408 Lewers St., at about 8:40 p.m. Friday.

Police did not say why officers were trying to arrest Mcdade before he resisted.
