The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office identified on Tuesday a Honolulu man who was found unresponsive near Kahala Post Office and later died as Alapati Anae.

Police said Anae, 23, was found in a parking lot at about 5:50 p.m. Monday with injuries possibly sustained in an unwitnessed fall.

Paramedics transported Anae to a hospital in extremely critical condition, an Emergency Services Department supervisor said.

Autopsy results are pending.
