Prosecutors have charged a 26-year-old Makiki woman for fraudulently using a credit card number to book a Waikiki hotel room.

Jessica Crane was charged Thursday with fraudulent use of a credit card, second-degree theft and unauthorized control of personal confidential information.

Police arrested Crane Tuesday for allegedly fraudulently using a credit card number to book the hotel room under the cardholder’s name.

Hotel charges were made between Oct. 29 and Nov. 7 totaling $3,000 before the fraud was discovered, police said.

The woman fled, but through investigation was identified, located and arrested.

Crane’s bail was set at $15,000.
