Two pedestrians were seriously injured in separate accidents Friday morning.

Just before 6 a.m., a truck struck a 53-year-old woman on Kamehameha IV Road near Lakoloa Place in Kalihi Valley, according to an Emergency Medical Services report. 

She was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

At about 5:50 a.m., a man tending to a car on the H-1 freeway near the Waimalu off-ramp was struck by a car going town-bound, EMS reported.

Paramedics took the man to the hospital in serious condition.
