Woman who died of knife wounds in Wahiawa identified

The Medical Examiner’s office has identified the 30-year-old Wahiawa woman who died of knife wounds Saturday as Judy Nitahara.

Nitahara died at Wahiawa General Hospital of stab wounds to her body.

Her death was classified as a suicide.

Police arrested her 34-year-old brother Saturday at Wahiawa General Hospital on suspicion of second-degree murder. But he was released Sunday when prosecutors declined to pursue the case.
