Henry Ian Cusick is Kane in the new series “The 100,” a far darker role than that of Desmond on “Lost.”

“Lost” actor Henry Ian Cusick has joined the cast of “Pali Road,” a film by Crimson Forest Entertainment now shooting on Oahu.

The film stars Jackson Rathbone, Sung Kang and Michelle Chen, known for roles in such movies as “The Twilight Saga,” “Fast & Furious,” and “You are the Apple of My Eye,” respectively.

Elizabeth Sung, of “Memoirs of a Geisha” and Tzi Ma, of “Rush Hour,” also are members of the cast.

“Pali Road” is based on an original screenplay written by Doc Pedrolie which tells the story of a woman who is in a terrible car accident the night her boyfriend proposes to her, according to a statement released by the studio.

The film is being co-executive produced by a handful of executives from different companies including Honolulu-based Island Film Group.

The project is the first of three films Crimson Forest Entertainment intends to bring to audiences in China and around the world, according to Director Jonathan Lim, in a statement.
