Police look for man who tried to rob another man in Waipahu
Police are looking for a man armed with a dangerous instrument who tried to rob a man Friday morning in Waipahu.
Police said the suspect approached the 45-year-old man from behind at 8:40 a.m. in a commercial area.
He was armed with a dangerous instrument and threatened the victim, police said.
The victim ran from the suspect to a nearby commercial property, and the suspect fled on foot, police said.
The case is lassified as a first-degree attempted robbery.
