Honolulu firefighters extinguished a smoldering electrical fire that forced a partial evacuation of a care home Saturday in Kapolei.

The fire started shortly before 1 p.m. at Ka Punawai Ola at 91-575 Farrington Highway, said Honolulu fire Capt. David Jenkins.

He said firefighters assisted the care home staff with moving 58 patients from one wing to another because of light smoke in the building.

No one was injured.
