Large Hawaii-based retailer Pomare Ltd., parent company of Hilo Hattie, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization for a second time in seven years.
The company recently closed retail stores on Hawaii island.
Its Thursday bankruptcy filing lists assets of $1 million to $10 million and liabilities of $10 million to $50 million.
The company last filed for bankruptcy reorganization in 2008, and emerged in 2009.
