Police arrested one of two suspects in the robbery of a convenience store in Palolo Valley on Friday.

Police logs did not identify the person arrested, noting only that a petition had been filed, likely indicating that the suspect is a minor.

According to police, two male suspects entered the Valley Market on 10th Avenue and brandished a dangerous instrument. They assaulted a 64-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman who worked at the store before stealing property and fleeing.

The male victim was transported to a local trauma center in serious condition. The female victim suffered minor injuries and was also transported to a local trauma center.
