Police reopened Kamehameha Highway in Kahaluu Sunday, one day after a single-vehicle crash knocked down a utility pole, closing the roadway.

Police said Kamehameha Highway near Waihee Road was reopened about 1 p.m.

Saturday’s crash injured two men and knocked down a utility pole between Waihee and Wailehua roads about 4 p.m. Saturday.

The two men were transported in undisclosed condition to an area hospital.

Police closed the highway in both directions starting around 4:20 p.m., rerouting traffic through the Kahaluu neighborhood.
