A 26-year-old Waipahu woman was charged Wednesday with damaging a vehicle while trying to ram a group of people in Waimanalo.

Amber Nakamura was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree criminal property damage. Her bail was set at $20,000.

Police said Nakamura was driving a vehicle when she attempted to collide into four people about 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Police responded and discovered Nakamura had hit a parked vehicle, causing more than $1,500 in damage.

She was arrested at the scene on Waikaloa Street and charged Wednesday afternoon.
