JUNEAU, Alaska >> The Juneau, Alaska, airport was partially evacuated after a bullet was found on a passenger ramp before a flight.

Juneau police say the unfired .22-caliber bullet was found Tuesday morning in the secure area, prompting removal of two Alaska Airlines planes from the area.

Passengers also were removed from the departure lounge, and police took the bullet into evidence.

Airport manager Patty deLaBruere says Alaska Airlines flights 61 and 62 were delayed for about 30 minutes.

Both flights were boarded and awaiting departure after authorities cleared them for takeoff.

DeLaBruere says the bullet was found in the Jetway for Alaska Airlines flight 62. Flight 61 was delayed as a precaution.
