Led by quarterback Russell Wilson, several members of the Super Bowl runnerup Seattle Seahawks are holding player-organized workouts on Maui this week.

The group left Seattle Sunday for the trip, which will feature some seven-on-seven workouts.

“The goal and focus is to be completely invested,” Wilson told Seahawks.com. “Invested in growing as players. Invested in growing as teammates. Invested in growing as men. Completely invested is our mission.”

Players have been posting photos of their stay to Twitter and Instagram accounts. Wide receiver Kevin Norwood  (@MrClutch_83) posted a picture with the comment, “First time in Hawaii!”

Outside linebacker Bruce Irvin (bruceirvin51) posted a palm tree beach scene with the notation, “Paradise” and linebacker Bobby Wagner posted, “Just the beginning of a great week!”

But the most talked about photo has been a faux fight between Irvin and tight end Jimmy Graham.

The last two years Wilson & Co. held their sessions in Hermosa Beach, Calif. This is the first time both offensive and defensive players will be involved.

They are scheduled to report Monday for the beginning of a nine-week voluntary offseason training program.
