Memorial fund set up for motorcyclist struck on freeway by SUV

The family of a motorcyclist who may have been deliberately struck on the H-1 freeway has set up a memorial fund to help defray the funeral expenses.

The Keith Jantoc Memorial Fund has been established at the Bank of Hawaii.

Jantoc, 25, of Mililani was killed after being by a sports utility vehicle in the town-bound lanes of the freeway near the Kunia onramp at about 10 p.m. Wednesday. Police arrested a 40-year-old woman Thursday night on suspicion of second-degree murder based on information provided by witnesses.

Funeral services for Jantoc will be held Wednesday, beginning with public visitation from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at New Hope Leeward, Kapolei. The service begins at 7 p.m., and will conclude with a motorcycle club tribute in the parking lot.
