Teenager seriously injured in Nimitz Highway moped accident

Paramedics took a 17-year-old boy  to the hospital following a moped accident early Tuesday morning on Nimitz Highway, Emergency Medical Services reported.

The accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. near the Zippy’s restaurant, EMS said.

The boy was reported in serious condition.
