About 30 Hawaii soldiers from the 8th Theater Sustainment Command’s 175th Financial Management Support Center are preparing for a deployment to Kuwait where they will conduct financial management in support of U.S. operations in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan.
The team will handle some of the things sometimes taken for granted — budgeting, funding cost management and accounting, the Army said.
The 175th soldiers traveled abroad and to several different states over the last four months to train, including making a trip to the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston.
