A 53-year-old man critically injured when he was hit in the head in Kalihi earlier this month died at the hospital Sunday night and the case is now classified a second-degree murder investigation.
Police are still looking for a suspect in the incident, which happened at 4:20 a.m. May 3 near Club Cleopatra at 1095 Dillingham Blvd.
Police said a male suspect struck the victim and fled the scene.
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital in critical condition with head injuries.
