Man who drove into building, nearly hitting another man, is released
Police released a 63-year-old Iwilei man pending further investigation after he allegedly drove a car into a Kalihi building early Monday morning.
The man narrowly missed hitting a 43-year-old man when he drove into the building at 3:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of North King Street, police said.
The 43-year-old man was not injured.
Police arrested the 63-year-old man on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder, but released him pending further investigation.
