Marcus Mariota’s only local endorsement, a First Hawaiian Bank commercial, has begun airing locally.

It is one of six endorsement contracts the Tennessee Titans’ quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner currently has.

The commercial traces his path backward from the University of Oregon to Saint Louis School to Nuuanu Elementary. His father, Toa, provides the narration.

"We’re really happy with the relationship with First Hawaiian Bank," said Alan Zucker of Excel Sports, Mariota’s New York-based agent for marketing and brand management. " I think that they really nailed it creatively in terms of connecting Marcus to the bank that says, ‘yes!’ and the whole tagline that they’ve created for Marcus. It is a really good fit for Marcus and the bank."

Zucker said, "We’re really happy with the ways things are heading."

Mariota, the second overall back in last month’s NFL Draft, completed the Titans’ rookie minicamp last weekend.

Organized team activities with the full squad begin next week.
