Aina Haina woman charged with identity theft, credit card fraud

Prosecutors charged a 58-year-old Aina Haina woman Thursday with numerous counts of identity theft and credit card fraud.

Police said they investigated several cases ofcredit card fraud reported Nov. 21-March 2 by three women, ages 60, 63 and 53.

Police arrested Kathleen Watanabe Thursday morning at her home.

She was charges Thursday for four counts of theft, three counts of identity theft, three counts of credit card theft, 14 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and three counts of unauthorized use of personal confidential information. Her bail was set at $500,000.
