Police arrested a 20-year-old Waimanalo woman on suspicion of identity theft and other offenses related to allegedly using a credit card stolen in a purse snatching in Waikiki.

Police said the woman allegedly robbed a 50-year-old woman in Waikiki, taking her purse May 14, and allegedly used the victim’s credit card to make purchases at different locations in Makiki.

The woman was identified and arrested at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of second-degree identity theft, unathorized possession of confidential personal information, second-degree theft, attempted second-degree theft and nine counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.
