Maui Brewing Co. will open their first Oahu location at the current Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber spot in Waikiki.
Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber will give way to Maui Brewing Co.’s first Oahu location at the Holiday Inn Resort Waikiki Beachcomber next fall, officials have announced.
The new restaurant concept will open the Waikiki spot in partnership with restaurateurs Bill Terry and Chris Thibaut and Outrigger Enterprises Group, after a multimillion dollar renovation beginning in Spring, 2016.
Until renovations begin, Terry’s Handcrafted Restaurants LLC, a partnership that includes famed isle chef Peter Merriman and is the parent company of his restaurants, will continue to operate Jimmy Buffett’s.
Maui Brewing Co. was founded by Garrett and Melani Marrero in 2005.
The new restaurant will be owned and operated by Maui Brewing Waikiki LLC, a partnership between the brewing company, Thibaut and Terry, and Outrigger.
