PHOENIX » Southwest Airlines says one of its flights returned to the Phoenix airport shortly after takeoff because of a blown tire on the aircraft.

The airline says none of the 143 passengers and five crew members was injured.

Flight 211 was headed to San Francisco after taking off from Sky Harbor Airport Monday night.

The airline says that the aircraft quickly returned to the airport and landed safely.
