Police on Thursday arrested a 23-year-old man who allegedly carjacked a vehicle in Waipahu in June.

Police said the man allegedly used force against another 23-year-old man to steal his vehicle about 3 a.m. June 21 in Waipahu.

After a police investigation, the victim and another witness identified the suspect, and officers arrested the man Thursday on suspicion of second-degree robbery at the Oahu Community Correctional Center.

He was later released pending investigation, but was already in custody at OCCC on a different offense.
