Police arrest man involved in fight over stolen bike
A 56-year-old homeless man is in custody for allegedly attacking another man and hitting him on the head with a metal bar during a dispute over a stolen bike in Kakaako.
Police said the incident occurred at 6:30 a.m. Monday near Kewalo harbor.
The suspect confronted a 38-year-old man about a stolen bike and then chased him wielding a metal bar. When the victim fell, police said, the suspect hit him several times.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
