A 22-year-old Pearl City man told police that his girlfriend stabbed him with scissors and slashed him with a knife Wednesday in their home. 

The 22-year-old man said his 21-year-old girlfriend woke him up at 9 a.m. telling him to leave. The suspect then grabbed scissors and stabbed her boyfriend in his left shoulder, before going into the kitchen, grabbing a knife and slashing the man in his left arm, police said. 

The man told police he saw the suspect outside the hospital where he was treated and called police. 

Officers arrested the woman on suspicion of second-degree assault.
