Police seek witnesses to BB gun incidents in Pearl City, Wahiawa

Police are asking for help in finding witnesses or victims of recent BB gun incidents in Wahiawa and Pearl City. 

Police say there have been five such incidents from Sept. 22 through Sept. 26 involving BB guns. 

On Tuesday at 5:45 p.m, a juvenile male was sitting at a bus stop on Hoolaulea Street when he was injured by a BB gun. 

On Thursday, at 7:55 p.m., a victim was standing in a parking lot on North Kamehameha Highway when he was shot in the hand by a BB gun. 

Two incidents involving BB guns damaging vehicles occurred about 8:45 a.m. Friday near the Dole Plantation. In one of case, the rear passenger door was damaged. In another case, the vehicle’s rear window was shattered by a round from a BB gun. 

And 11:25 a.m. Saturday, a BB gun was fired into a Wahiawa business’s front window, damaging it. The business is located on Kilani Avenue. 

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellphone. Texts may be sent by texting CS808 plus a message to 274637 or CRIMES.
