Suspect in murder of Lihue man to be arraigned

    Francisco Keola Manuel is being held at the Lihue police cell block on $1 million bail.

A 37-year-old Lihue man will be arraigned in Kauai District Court this afternoon in connection with the death of another man early Saturday morning.

Francisco Keola Manuel was arrested Saturday on second-degree murder. He is being held at the Lihue police cell block on $1 million bail.

The body of Hallas Gary Allianic, Jr., 38, of Lihue, was found early Saturday morning in a parking lot near the Kauai War Memorial Convention

Allianic died of injuries sustained in an assault, Kauai police said.
