Authorities are looking for the prankster who poured detergent into a city fountain, sending a stream of foam into the road.

Honolulu Fire Department crews worked to clear the junction of King Street and Kapiolani Blvd. Wednesday morning after the bubbles came pouring out of the fountain and piled onto city streets.

Maj. Roy Sugimoto of the police department says the soapy roadway is no joke as traffic was impeded and drivers could have been hurt.

The police have opened a first-degree criminal tampering case due to the mess.
