Police arrested a 24-year-old Mililani man Friday in connection with the death of a 59-year-old man who was found unresponsive in a Mililani parking lot on Sunday. 

Police reported that the victim, Martin Luippold of Mililani, was assaulted at about 10:30 p.m. at the Gateway at Mililani Mauka shopping center on Meheula Parkway. 

Police said Luippold was taken with head injuries to a hospital and died several hours later. 

The suspect was arrested at his residence on Alapoai Street on suspicion of second-degree murder.
