Mother Marcie Dela Cruz sat next to her husband Ray and son Makaio at a press conference today. Their quintuplets were in the hospital's intensive care unit.

A Hawaii woman gave birth to quintuplets Saturday at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children, a first for the Honolulu hospital.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, Marcie Dela Cruz gave birth to four boys and one girl, Kapiolani said.

“All the babies are doing well and we can’t be happier,” said Dela Cruz on her Facebook page.

According to the family’s gofundme.com page, the babies are named Kapena, Kaolu, Keahi, Kupono and Kamali’i Dela Cruz.

Dela Cruz and her husband, Ray, also have a 2-year-old son, Makaio.
