Police responding to a traffic accident in Chinatown Monday discovered that one of the cars in the collision had been reported stolen, and arrested its 15-year-old driver for car theft.
The incident occurred at 1:25 p.m.
Besides car theft, the 15-year-old suspect also was arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft and causing a motor vehicle accident.
Charges are pending.
